Aims, contents and method of the course
Mengenlehre hat eine ungewöhnlich verbindende Funktion: Sie zieht die Interessen von Vertretern verschiedenster philosophischer Strömungen auf sich, die sonst kaum Gemeinsamkeiten betonen. - Woran liegt das?Zunächst soll in dem Seminar der Kenntnisstand der Teilnehmerinnen in Bezug auf Mengentheorie ausgeglichen werden, indem einführende Texte gelesen und besprochen werden. Danach wird anhand des Buchs "Kardinalität und Kardinäle" die philosophische Diskussion Cantors mit Theologen seiner Zeit nachvollzogen werden.
