Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In a time in which "democracy as we know it" seems to be at risk, education science should ask what education can and should contribute to maintaining democracy. This will be discussed based on classical and recent examples.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation, a paper presentation, a term paper, and - if need be - an oral examination.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Maintaining scholarly standards at the graduate level.

Paper presentations.
