Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar will consist of descriptions of the leading educational systems throughout the world and in particular there will be a comprison with these systems and the Austrian system. Special attention will be given to the American school system and its development over time. Strenghts and weaknesses of each of the discussed systems will be highlighted and the participants will take an active role in researching aspects of the above.
