Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of this course is to provide an overview of the fields of learning, motivation and Volition. Topics of the course include basic paradigms and theories of classical conditioning and instrumental learning, drive and activation theory approaches to motivational psychology, implicit and explicit motives, expectancy-value theories, and theories and research in volitional and goal psychology.
This content will be presented by means of lectures and supplemented by offerings on Moodle (discussion forum, exercises).

Assessment and permitted materials

All 4 exam dates will be held in the same format, i.e. digitally via Moodle and as open-book exams (allowed aids: lecture slides and literature). The exam will consist of questions of different formats (e.g. multiple choice, cloze, assignment).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Notenschlüssel:
- 1: ab 27 Punkte (ab 90%)
- 2: 24-26 Punkte (ab 80%)
- 3: 21-23 Punkte (ab 70%)
- 4: 18-20 Punkte (ab 60%)
- 5: unter 18 Punkte (unter 60%)
