introduction to classical test theory (CTT)

introduction to item response theory (IRT)

- basic understanding how to design and develop psychological tests and questionnaires

- understanding the concepts of CTT, IRT and factor analyses

- interpretation of relevant software outputs (e.G. SPSS, LPCM Win)

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam (45 min)

- no records allowed´

- please bring your own calculator

Exam consists of 4 parts

- 2 Screening items, can be answered with one sentence only (1 Point each)
- 5 MC Items (1 point each)
- calculations (4 points in total)
- 2 questions (4 points each)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

to pass exam 50% of total points are necessary
