Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture provides an overview of central terms, concepts and theories of gender studies in political science. On the basis of this conceptual work, central topics of political science and gender studies are then addressed, e.g. questions such as democracy, representation, statehood, work and care, emotions, affects and right-wing populism. The lecture units provide space for follow-up questions and discussion.
It is recommended to be present or online for the first unit to learn more important details about the lecture schedule.

Assessment and permitted materials

Online exam with exam sheet to download. 1st exam date in the last lecture unit. The exam consists of 3 essay questions (20 points each). Open Book. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th exam dates will also be held in this format.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Notenspiegel:

60-57 Punkte = sehr gut
56-50 Punkte = gut
49-42 Punkte = befriedigend
41-33 Punkte = genügend
32-0 Punkte = nicht genügend
