Philosophy of science / methodology of feminist discourse analysis (research field. theory of science)Description:After an introduction to scientific theory and methodology, theoretical concepts of discourse are developed in the lecture. The approaches of M. Foucault and J. Butler represent points of reference. Discourse is understood by discourse-analytical approaches as social ways of speaking or ensembles (dispositives) that are institutionalized, i.e. subject to certain changeable rules and at the same time possess performative power effects. Discourse analyses are also power analyses, for discourse is always essentially linked to a'right of disposition over truth'. The right of disposal allows knowledge to be enforced materially and is not only connected with speaking, but also with doing, with action. Equally central are the respective gender ideology of discourses and the possible subject positions that they produce as effects.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator
