Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
At present, the study of markets of contemporary art - by and large dealt to a lesser degree in anthropology - appear of major interest as a topic of investigation for several reasons: (a) it was but for a short period affected by the financial crisis of 2008; (b) there are on going debates and dissents regarding the influence of art markets on art practices (relationship mart market and art world); (c) the heterogenetic structure of art markets (on the one hand local, national, global; on the other different fields - galleries, fairs, auctions, and the internet).
