Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The PS deepens the understanding of the topics presented in the associated lecture "Nonlinear Optimization".
Assessment and permitted materials
Solving exercises and marking them as solved on the moodle page ("Kreuzerlliste") before the session each week, presenting the solutions at the blackboard and contributing to the ensuing discussions.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Weekly attendance, presenting an aliquot part of the problems over the course of the semester and solving at least 60% of the exercises is necessary for a positive grade. Positive grades are composed of the quality of the blackboard presentations, active participation and the percentage of solved exercises.
