Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

"PS Numerics of Partial Differential Equations" complements the course "Numerics of Partial Differential Equations" (VO, 250117) and is intended for students who are currently attending the course or have attended it in a previous semester. The PS focuses on deepening the understanding of the material through theoretical problem-solving, computational exercises, and practical use of a dedicated software package.

Assessment and permitted materials

Homework, blackboard presentations, and active participation in class.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirements for a positive assessment are:
- at least 50% homework exercises,
- two positively judged blackboard presentations,
- max. 5 absences.
