Aims, contents and method of the course
Vector spaces with scalar product: Euclidean and unitary vector spaces, orthonormal systems and bases, hermitian and unitary maps, diagonalisation, Hilbert spaces, linear operators in Hilbert spacesPartial differential equations: Linear partiell differential equations of first and second order, in particular Laplace/Poisson equation, Heat equation, Wave equation.
