Aims, contents and method of the course
The goal of this exercise class is for students to acquire a deeper understanding of the topics of T3 by solving and discussing selected problems. The topics covered in the exercises are based on the material discussed in the T3 lecture. The focus here is not on the correctness of the solution, but rather on the various possible solutions. The material of this lecture will be tested in the "Modulprüfung".
Assessment and permitted materials
Examples must be prepared for each exercise unit, which can be found on the VO Moodle page. All examples that are scheduled for the corresponding session should be prepared. If there is a delay, your course instructor will inform you about the number of examples for the next session. You upload your examples by 23:00 on the Tuesday before the lecture and mark on the crosser list on your Moodle exercise page the examples you have prepared and are ready to present and discuss. Success in the presentation is not based on the correctness of the solution, but on sufficient engagement with the example. At least 60% of the examples must be marked and at least two blackboard presentations must have taken place. The uploaded examples can be used for assessment. The grade is determined by the fulfillment of the minimum requirements and the percentage of examples marked: 90- 100% (Very Good), 80-90% (Good), 70-80% (Satisfactory), 60-70% (Sufficient).
Non-attendance at this course must be reported to the respective lecturer by e-mail before (!) the start of the lecture. In the event of repeated absences, an oral examination on the missed content may be scheduled.
