Aims, contents and method of the course

Attention: Due to the Covid-19 crisis there will be no physical presence possible till the end of the semester. The lectures will be given in home-learning mode. For more details see at Moodle.

The lecture is for the second part of the studies for physics teachers, in particular for those who plan a diploma work in didactics of physics.
An overview is given about structure and physical properties of matter, starting from elementary particles to macromolecules:
The physics of quantum mechanics, elementary particles, atomic physics, nuclear physics and molecules will be presented.
