Aims, contents and method of the course
Interdisciplinary discussion of recent publications on defects, kinetics and electronic properties of condensed systems.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Structural, electromagnetic and chemical properties and applications of condensed systems shall be presented from the vantage point of various modern experimental and theoretical methods. The participants shall have a forum to present their own results, they shall also be taught how to enter a body of literature and how to best present the results of their search.
Examination topics
Series of talks with liberal possibility to ask questions and a final discussion. According to the preferences of the speaker and the requirements of the audience, the talk will be given either in German or in English.
