Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Basic passive and active electronic elements, frequency response, HP, LP, BP, diodes, rectifier; transistors, basic circuitries; operation amplifiers; active filters; sensors and instrument amplifiers; Basic digital elements; DAC/ADC; Micro controller; Bus systems and PC - interfacing, problem analysis and solution strategies aplied to measurement and process controlling tasks; Requirements: Basic knowledge of programming, e.g. Python.

Assessment and permitted materials

Documentation of laboratory work, final written test

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Basic (theoretical and practical) knowledge on electronics, for later autonomous application e.g. during a master thesis.
