Assessment and permitted materials
The final evaluation comprises the performance and quality of the practical work, the keeping of the laboratory journal, as well as the examinations on Safety in the Laboratory, and the final examination.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Anwesenheit ist zu folgenden Terminen erforderlich:
Vorbesprechung am 03.11., 13.15 Uhr
Prüfung Laborsicherheit am Platzzuteilung am 10.11. ab 15 Uhr
Platzzuteilung am 12.11. ab 16 Uhr
Platzübergabe am 17.11. ab 13 Uhr
Platzrückgabe am 29.01 ab 13 Uhr
Abschlussprüfung am 01.02. ab 14 UhrLaborarbeitsplätze stehen an 12 Arbeitstagen von 13-18 Uhr für die praktische Arbeit zur VerfügungZur Beurteilung werden herangezogen:
Laborsicherheitsprüfung bis 22 Punkte
Praktische Beispiele: 17 mal 8 Punkte
Abschlussprüfung 60 Punkte
Gesamt: 218 Punkte maximal
Mindestkriterium sind a) bestandene Laborsicherheitsprüfung (11/22 Pkte) und b) 14 von 17 praktische Beispiele bestanden.Notenschlüssel:

Aim of the course is the acquisition of basic experimental techniques in chemistry and of basic skills for the safe handling of chemicals and laboratory equipment. The basic concepts of chemistry and knowledge on reactions of important elements and inorganic compounds are tought in 17 practical units.
Introduction into the basic working methods in a chemical laboratory, knowledge of the most important types of chemical reactions.
