Aims, contents and method of the course

3 credits;
Isolation of the immunoglobulin fraction of an antiserum: ammonium-sulfate precipitation, purification by affinity chromatography; characterization of antibody purity by SDS-polyacrylamid gel electrophoresis; determination of the affinity constant by scatchard plot, determination of the antibody titer; optimization of an ELISA test.
