Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS: 4
The lecture gives an overview on structure and evolution of extragalactic systems. Properties of nearby galaxies, galaxy groups and clusters of galaxies are discussed on basis of their phenomenology and state-of-the-art theories on formation an evolution of extragalactic systems.
