Aims, contents and method of the course

History of the detection of the dimension of our Galaxy, their main components, observational possibilities and the comparsion with other galaxies, the age of the Galaxy derived on the basis of globular cluster, chemical evolution of the galactic disc, the stellar distribution in the vicinity of the sun.
