Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Aims: In this lecture, the students obtain an overview of basic research- and application-oriented methods of following subdisciplines of physical geography: geomorphology, climate- hydro-, soil and biogeography. Furthermore, after finishing this course they will be capable of embedding their gained results in a bigger scientific context.Contents: creating terrain profiles, creation and interpretation of climate diagrams and timelines of selected climate parameters, creation and interpretation of hydrographs, interpretation of soil profiles, interpretation of vegetation and land-use dataMethods: group work, lecture, individual work
