Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students know current developments in hard and software for GIS and remote sensing as well as their application in various domains (national parks, urban and rural regions with local peculiarities, planetray mapping).
The contents of the field trip concern visits to software developers, research institutions and universities as well as practical field work.

Assessment and permitted materials

A fact sheet will be prepared and presented by the students for every stop. The active participation and a report will be assessed as well.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Active participation in the preparatory pro-seminar and the field tip.

Examination topics

No exam, but active participation required.

Reading list

Will be provided at the first meeting.
