Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Selected topics regarding the natural environment, the society and interactions in New Zealand. The focus will be to get a fundamental scientific basis for the field-trip to NZ.

Assessment and permitted materials

Presentation of a particular topic (65%), active participation (35%)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The participants shall become familiar with the excursion area as a basis to deepen their understanding of the relevant topics during the excursion.
Maximum score of 20 for presentation (13) and active participation(7): 20-19 Sehr gut, 18-16 Gut, 15-13 Befriedigend, 12-11 Genügend, 10-0 Nicht genügend

Examination topics

The participants elaborate on selected topics relevant to the excursion area and present their findings in the plenum.
