Aims, contents and method of the course

Aims: Students should gain deeper insights into topic-related issues (see contents) and should learn to reflect on them critically

Contents: geomorphology/ressources/natural hazards/conservation (Bohemian Massif, Molasse Basin, Flysch Zone, Northern Calcareous Alps, Central Alps, Southern Calcareous Alps, Julian Alps (Slovenia))

Methods: Field inspections, expert interviews, talks and presentations

Assessment and permitted materials

Written report (40 %), blog (40 %), active participation (20 %)
