Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Knowledge management becomes more and more important in the regional development, because a huge number of information, data and facts influence the decision of developing strategies to the regions. The knowledge that is not retrievable, knowledge that is not explicated shows little use in the regions and with it also for the regional development.

Within the scope of the LVA different methods are introduced in the knowledge management and in context with the practise
from studying geography and regional planning put. Relevant literature is compiled by students and is processed with a knowledge management method.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Delivery of three papers " results literature analysis " ( 10 % )
Delivery of a paper " Introducing the chosen method and starting points for regional development " ( 10 % )
Preparing and implementing a knowledge acquisition / Explizierungsmethode ( 30 % )
Poster presentation of all results from the LVA as final paper ( 50 % )
