Aims, contents and method of the course

Content: basic structures of regional development and policy in Austria and in the European Union; cross border cooperation and regional development in Austria (enlargement of the EU); regional development agencies; protected areas and regional development in Austria; evaluation of regional development; successful projects of regional development in Austria (case studies); advanced studies in regional management; "learning regions"; regional governance; presentation and analysis of current useful literature, information posts or media and institutions on the major theme (overview and working aids)
Learning objectives: the course goal is to attain a comprehensive understanding and reflection of the regional specifics of Austria and their potential development options. After successfully completing this course, students will know the basic structures of regional development and policy in Austria and in the European Union.

Für jede Frage wird ein Punkt vergeben. In Summe gibt es 10 Punkte.
Jeder Punkt kann unterteilt werden (0,25; 0,50; 0,75; 1).

Sehr gut (9,75-10 Punkte)
Gut (8,75-9,50 Punkte)
Befriedigend (7,75-8,50 Punkte)
Genügend (5,75-7,50 Punkte)
Nicht genügend (5,50 Punkte und weniger)
