Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is addressed to students in the basic study period and will provide a basic methodical training. As regards content it is directly following the course "Statistical Data Analysis I", therefore it is recommended to take that course first. The main focus lies in the presentation of the most important bivariate testing procedures for different data levels. Furthermore multivariate methods often used in geography as regression analysis will be discussed.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written Exam
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The attendance of both courses should enable students to solve regional statistical problems by using the adequate uni-, bi- or multivariate methods.
