Aims, contents and method of the course

Über viele Jahrzehnte hat sich für den Unterricht in Geographie- und wirtschaftliche Bildung die Konzeption eines Brückenfaches, das zwischen Natur- und Gesellschaftswissenschaften vermitteln solle, gehalten - auch, weil sie sich mit Grundschemata der Länderkunde in Einklang bringen ließ. Gleichzeitig wurden paradigmatische Setzungen in der didaktischen Literatur wenig thematisiert, auch wenn sich die Konzepte und die Unterrichtsbeispiele längst weiter entwickelt hatten. Diese Vorlesung systematisiert wesentliche aktuelle Ansätze, die international diskutiert werden. Dazu gehören jedenfalls Education for Innovativeness & Entrepreneurship education, unterschiedliche Literacy Ansätze (Spatial, Economic und critical geographical media literacy), Ansätze der education for sustainable development und climate change education, des conceptual change sowie der capabilities approach.

Assessment and permitted materials

Zusätzlich zur empfohlenen Literatur werden Lern-Unterlagen online in Moodle zur Verfügung gestellt.

Für alle Studierenden, die nicht in das neue Curriculum wechseln, wird es im WS 2026/27 zwei weitere Prüfungstermine zu dieser Vorlesung geben.

Examination topics

Der Prüfungsstoff umfasst den gesamten Stoff der Vorlesung, der Folien sowie der angegebenen Literatur.
