Our 2026 field trip will take us to England and potentially Scotland. We will visit at least London and York on our way but likely add a third stop and a National Park/Landscape. On our trip we will also visit the 17th Conference on Spatial Information Theory (COSIT) . Hence, most likely travel dates will be 7 days around 19-27 of September 2026. The exact dates and travel details will become available in March 2026.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Our 2026 field trip will take us to England and potentially Scotland. We will visit at least London and York on our way but likely add a third stop and a National Park/Landscape. Participation as well as two small-sized projects/tasks. The main focus will be the interaction with researchers and students in the UK.

Participation as well as two small-sized projects/tasks. The main focus will be the interaction with researchers and students in the UK.
For a passing grade the students need to score at least 51% point.
Attendance is mandatory.
