Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The minimum requirement is a basic understanding of research ethics and its application in solving an ethical dilemma in the context of research. Grades will be based on the outcome of the multiple-choice test.

The lecture will address key ethical issues related to biological research like the involvement of human subjects in research, data protection/privacy, animal testing, environmental and human safety issues and research integrity.
The focus in all presentations will be on hands-on guidance in resolving practical research questions. The presentations will be held in English.
