Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will cover the methods for analysis and functional annotation of genomes. It will include presentation (lecture like ) and exercises aimed at database mining, similarity searches and phylogenetic analysis among others.
The Lecture will be given in English.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written protocol of the analysis in English. The grades will be a combination of participation in classes and the written protocol. Attendance in all days is mandatory unless a proper justification is given. Failure to provide the protocol implies a failure in the course.
Grades
19-20 points: Very good
16-18 points: Good
13-15 points: Satisfactory
10-12 points: Sufficient

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Basic notions on biology and physiology are needed.Written protocol of the analysis in English. The grades will be a combination of participation in classes and the written protocol.
