Aims, contents and method of the course
Contributions dealing with the various scientific, methodological and instrumental aspects of light- and electron microscopy are presented by scientists leading in their field. Advanced students are also encouraged to present the results of their research
Assessment and permitted materials
presence, active contribution to the presentations and discussions, submission of a summary (2 pages) of a seminar talk
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Survey of technical developments and latest research activities in the fields of light- and electron microscopy
Examination topics
seminar lectures and discussion, report at the end of the seminar in form of a summary of one individual presentation that was offered in the seminar.
