Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In the first part of this 2 semester course the students learn to identify a scientific project in marine ecology, to find and evaluate background literature, to formulate hypotheses and to devise experiments to test them, and to choose and train the appropriate methods. During summer break students stay for a two week field period at a marine station. The students work in groups of 4-5 on their projects.
