Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture introduces basic concepts in evolutionary theory and particularly evolutionary developmental biology (EvoDevo), applied to questions of human evolution. Examples comprise the development and evolution of the human cranium, brain, and pelvis, among others. We will also discuss the medical context of these processes.
