Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course teaches special knowledge on the structure, function and evolution of the insects. For the understanding of an organism, knowledge of structure and function of its organs is the most important prerequisite, which is why the focus is primarily on functional and evolutionary morphology. We will work out and visualize specific characteristics using different examples.

Assessment and permitted materials

Mandatory attendance. Drawings/pictures of individual courses will be assessed. A positive degree requires more than 50% of the number of points.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Mandatory attendance, positive grades of the drawings/pictures of the individual course days.
