Aims, contents and method of the course
The subject of the lecture is an introduction into comparative histology (beginning with cell biology and the four basic tissues) followed by the description of structure and function of the organ systems of vertebrates. The theoretical presentation is supplemented by the demonstration of selected slides with the possibility for self study and training in differential diagnosis.
