Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Becoming a successful scientist and academic requires not only expertise on one’s area of research, but also the ability to succinctly and successfully present this expertise to different audiences and in different formats. From CV writing to conference and poster presentations, this seminar series is structured in a tutorial style and with weekly presentations by the lecturer followed by in-class discussion and assessments of a given topic.
By the end of it, all attendees will have acquired direct experience in CV formatting; communication of presentations and posters; as well as in presenting their work to the public through traditional outlets and social media platforms.

Assessment and permitted materials

The course requires full attendance and there will be in-class assessment through presented work half-way through the course.
