Aims, contents and method of the course

Technological basis, spectrum and potential of mass spectroscopy. Generation and evaluation of experimental datasets, discussion of relevant publications and examples.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Verständnis über zeitgemäße Methoden der genomweiten Analyse von Expressionsniveaus, Protein-DNA Interaktionen, Protein-Protein Interaktionen und Proteinmodifikationen. Fähigkeit das analytische Potential von Massenspektroskopie und Microarrays einzuschätzen und einen Überblick über relevante Problemstellungen zu haben.
