Aims, contents and method of the course

Basics of population genetics; evolution of humans, Neanderthals and other populations as well as great apes; comparative population genetics with other species; genetic admixture and how to find it; functional relevance of admixture

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam with a maximum of 30 points: 3 questions to answer as written text (5 points each), 15 Multiple choice questions (1 point each)
