Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will cover prokaryotic evolution as well as its diversity in terms of conserving energy from the environment. It will cover the major transitions in prokaryotic evolution, from the origin of life to eukaryotes. In addition, the major bioenergetics solutions microbes use to conserve energy from the environment will also be covered
The Lecture will be given in English.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam, in English.
You have 90 minutes to work on the exam.
There is one open question.
