Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Current questions and methods of evolutionary biology will be applied to research on phenotypic plasticity of amphibian larvae (experimental ecology, geometric morphometry).

Aims: Understanding of current topics in evolutionary biology, ability to apply relevant research methods, practice in writing scientific reports.

Methods: Discussion of scientific papers, practical research in a small team, data analysis and writing of reports.

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment of practical work and written reports.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimal requirements: 90% presence during seminars, written report in the from of a scientific publication
Assessment criteria: 40% practical work and oral presentation, 60% written report
