Aims, contents and method of the course
Modern molecular techniques provide novel insights into the genetic basis of brain dysfunction in humans. In the seminar we will discuss recent progress in our understanding of various types of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases with the main focus of genetic model systems and recent developments in brain imaging approaches.
