Aims, contents and method of the course

Ecological commitments, an overview. Plant-ecology: descriptive and research of causality, a comparison. Eco-plant-physiological contributions made to elucidate ecological processes.
Photosynthesis and Primary Production: CO2, O2 and temperature responses; light interference; Carbon - partitioning; Energy-conversion and - partitioning; water relations in the soil-plant air continuum (SPAC); functional plant anatomy; growth analyses; interference of plants: competition and allelopathy, signaling; land-use-changes; global change effects: carbon sequestration, ozone, UV-B, drought, social implications, ecological sound energy supply, sustainability.
