This course is held in the geologically and thus floristically very rich region of Grossfragant (southern slope of the Hohe Tauern). First, we deal with alpine biosystems and their characteristic flora, vegetation, and abiotic parameters. Second, we investigate facilitation in a selected alpine plant species in a small project. Data exploration and publication of the results will be conducted in a separate course in the winter semester.
