Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture provides an overview of the hydrodynamical forces, the chemistry, geology and biology of the ocean. The large oceanic subsystems are dealt with their physico-chemical forcings and their relation to the biotic components of the oceanic food webs both, benthic and pelagic.

Assessment and permitted materials

schriftliche Prüfung; 20 Fragen;
maximal sind 200 Punkte zu erreichen (10 Punkte pro Frage);
mindestens 100 Punkte müssen erreicht werden, um positiv zu sein
