Die Vorlesung findet online in Form von acht Einheiten statt, beginnend am 02.03.2026. Diese online-Einheiten werden auch aufgezeichnet und die Videos auf der Lernplattform Moodle zur Verfügung gestellt. Ebenso die Power Point Präsentationen (mit einer Tonspur zu jeder Folie), welche bei den einzelnen Einheiten verwendet werden.

1. Prüfungstermin: Im Anschluss an das Ende der LV (Mai/Juni 2026). Es wird auf u:space einen fiktiven Prüfungstermin geben, welcher nur Ihrer Anmeldung dient. Die eigentliche Prüfungen werden in Form individueller mündlicher online-Gespräche abgehalten (im Mai/Juni über einen längeren Zeitraum). 2. Prüfungstermin: Im Anschluss an den 1. Prüfungszeitraum: Auch hier wird es wieder einen fiktiven Prüfungstermin auf u:space zu Ihrer Anmeldung geben. Die eigentliche Prüfungen werden in Form individueller mündlicher online-Gespräche abgehalten (im Zeitraum Juni/Juli).

Ich darf schon jetzt darum ersuchen, dass sich für die ersten beiden Prüfungstermin nur Studierende anmelden, die die Note dringend benötigen. Nutzen Sie auch die Termine im Herbst/Winter, sollten Sie Note nicht dringend benötigen.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Method: This lecture will take place online. At the times indicated, lecture units will be held online, which will also be recorded. The recordings are then available afterwards on the Moodle learning platform. Moodle also contains the link to the digital lecture room, the slides used, and all other information about the courses and the exams.

Contents: Historical aspects of the human-animal relationship (hunting, religions, prehistoric extermination, domestication, diseases) up to the present day. Current animal-human interactions, human-animal relationships, animal ethics, animal welfare, animal law

Assessment and permitted materials

At least four exam dates between May 2025 and the end of the winter semester 25/26.
All exams will take place in the form of oral one-on-one discussions online.
No No aids are permitted during the exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

During the oral exam, four questions are asked, which are graded according to a points system. At least half of the maximum number of points must be achieved in order to pass the exam.
