Der Termin 23.11. (Vortragender: Marcus Dekens) muss leider auch entfallen. Der betreffende Stoff wird in den folgenden Terminen (30.11., 7.12.) mit abgedeckt. Am 30.11. bitte die Raumänderung beachten (s.u.)

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture course is an introduction into the development of animals and plants. On the one hand, general principles of development are presented, on the other hand, differences in development between organisms such as Drosophila, see urchin, chicken and mouse are also presented. The plant Arabidopsis is used to demonstrate some characteristics of plant development and the basic differences to animals. Whenever available, the molecular components underlying development are presented.
