Bei dieser LV handelt es sich um ein 1-monatiges Forschungsbeispiel in der Arbeitsgruppe ihrer Wahl (Wahlbeispiel = Lab-rotation). Die Teilnahme erfolgt nach Absprache mit dem ausgewählten Gruppenleiter und nach Anmeldung per Formular beim jeweiligen Fachkoordinator (http://molekularebiologie.univie.ac.at/formulare/wahlbeispiele )
Für externe Studierende: Zulassungsvoraussetzungen für diese Übungen sind prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltungen (UE) der Auflagen zur Studienzulassung.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Individual instruction in advanced techniques applied in Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology to answer specific questions related to ongoing research. Independent design and execution of experiments, documentation, discussion, and summary of results in a protocol.

Assessment and permitted materials

Compulsory attendance; the evaluation consists of different performances: active participation and results obtained, written report, theoretical knowledge including final exam (the percentage of the subgrades will be announced by the course leader); each of the subgrades must have a positive evaluation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Eigenständige Durchführung von Experimenten besonders unter Zuhilfenahme biochemischer Arbeitsmethoden
