320017 PR Qualitative Pharmaceutical Analysis (2011S)

The objective of these exercises is to train the student to be able to perform independently analyses of inorganic compound mixtures, especially according to prescriptions of pharmacopoeias, to handle toxic substances, to solve separation problems and to determine environmentally relevant inorganic contaminants.
Contents: Analysis of mixtures of cations as well as of anions, analysis of inorganic compounds, tests according to pharmacopoeias (identity, purity), other tests feasible in pharmacies, analysis of environmentally relevant inorganic contaminants.
Prerequisits: having passed the examination of the lecture: General and inorganic-pharmaceutical chemistry and the course: first aid.
