Aims, contents and method of the course

Goals: Within this lecture we will elaborate the molecular biological basics of cellular metabolism and reproduction. In addition, modern examination methods and models of experimental nutritional sciences will be presented.
Contents: Cells and their Structure; Genes and Inheritance; Regulation of Gene Expression, Cellular Signalling Pathways, Epigenetics, Nutrigenomics & Nutrigenetics; Basic Methods in Molecular Biology
Methods: online lecture and independent elaboration of specific questions/content

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam (multiple choice)
Exam duration: 90 min

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 50% of the questions have to be answered correctly
