Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course will draw on a variety of text types from different subject areas (engineering/natural sciences) in both German and Spanish (C2). The various source texts collected will serve as the basis for the exercises. These will be handed out by the course leader during the semester or uploaded to the Moodle platform. Over the course of the semester, bilingual glossaries covering various subject areas will be compiled. The assessment will be based equally on the examination, assignments, preparatory and research work, compulsory attendance and performance in the face-to-face and online sessions.

• Translation work carried out during face-to-face and online sessions is given equal weight in the assessment.
